This course is suitable for people who want to learn the basic principles
associated with the care and maintenance of horses.

Course Content:

• Handling, bedding, watering and feeding

• Grooming, rugging, saddlery, and shoeing
• Horse health, safety and health
• Grass-kept horse

Participant Profile:

This course is suitable for people who want to develop the skills
and knowledge for more advanced care and maintenance of horses.
You must have completed Level 1 to participate in the Level 2 course.

Course Content:

• Feeding, grooming and clipping

• Horse clothing and bandages, saddlery
• Horse health, shoeing, lunging
• Transportation of horses, grassland management

Day: Sat. 11 - 1.30p.m. Duration: 2 years* Fee: €250 per yr.

*Or one year if you already hold a Level 4 Cert
