Claiming your Tax Refund

This course is designed specifically to inform PAYE workers of the tax

 credits and reliefs they are entitled to, to help them to apply for any

 refund due to them and to apply for additional credits so that

 overpayment of tax does not reoccur. We will also cover the Income

 levy and PRSI/Health Contribution. 

  We will work in a casual atmosphere, concentrating on the

 topics relevant to the class, leaving all the jargon at the

 door.   

What we will do;  

 §  Register for PAYE online for anyone who wishes.

§  Look at a sample pay slip to see where deductions are normally taken.

§  Discuss the full range of tax credits available and apply for those not currently being allowed to participants.

§  Discuss the full range of reliefs.

§  Apply the reliefs and credits over the last 4 years.

§  Check thresholds for PRSI & Income levy for any refunds due.

§  Discuss any family or employment supports that are available to participants.

       §  Discuss any relevant topics specific to the participants.
