Participant Profile:

This course is suitable for people who wish to understand how the main mechanical components of a car work, to appreciate the need to maintain a car properly, to develop safe working practices when working on a ca, and to be aware of common hazards in the workplace.

Course Content:

• Lubrication of the car, cooling system, transmission system
• Suspension and tyres, steering and brakes
• The car’s electrical system
• Health & safety, NCT preparation
