This course is suitable for those working in early childhood care and education (ECCE) settings. It will equip you with the knowledge, skill and competence to provide for the health and wellbeing of children and maintain healthy, hygienic and safe practices and environments. 

Course Content

Requirements necessary to provide for the health and wellbeing of children in an ECCE setting as informed by national guidelines to include child protection
Factors that contribute to the overall wellbeing of children
Nutritional needs of babies and young children
Requirements for the promotion of healthy and safe indoor and outdoor environments for children
Common childhood illnesses
