Business Studies (5M2102) QQI Level 5

If you enjoy business and would like to work in retail, accountancy, marketing, insurance, an estate agent’s office or to run your own business, then this Certificate is an ideal stepping stone.

It is also a pathway to further study at higher levels, such as a degree in business management, business studies, accountancy, or a related subject in an Institute of Technology or University.

Course Content:

The course comprises eight modules, four compulsory modules, two elective modules and two optional modules.

Elective Modules:

These three modules are available at Gorey Community School from the list of elective modules

The remaining two modules are optional and can be selected from the full list of Level 5 modules available at Gorey Community School or can be a module that the participant has completed elsewhere.

Duration: It will take two years to complete the full eight modules at Gorey Community School. Participants attend classes two nights a week, Mondays and Wednesdays, along with some Saturdays where necessary.
